Behind The Lens

Hi, I'm Caesar. I’m a chef and a photographer. I was born in Warsaw, Poland but I’ve been an Irish resident for last 15 years. I love food and cooking, hiking, cycling, nature, and of course photographing those aspects of life.

Photography has always been present in my life but never to the extent that I wished for. This changed 3 years ago. I fainted on the street and I found out I had a brain tumor. From that moment everything has changed in my life. I had to stop working as a chef and underwent a surgery and a long-term treatment. I then decided that I would pursue my dreams. One of them was to master photography. I bought my first professional camera and started doing various photography courses. Before, while working in the restaurants, I was photographing food. With the new equipment, I enhanced my skills which resulted in a collaboration with a photo agency Meero on the project for JUST-EAT.ie, the largest online food ordering platform in Ireland.

Then, thanks to my love to nature, I began to master landscape photography, animals, plants. I appreciate the nature in my photography work; and I’m able to take the most of it thanks to long hours spent on observing her.

I'm mainly focused on those two areas of photography but I don't limit myself to them. I'm also interested in night photography, urban photography and portraits. I'm open to new challenges and cooperations with new people of different styles.
